The Goldberg Montessori School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) brings families and teachers together to strengthen our school community and enrich each child’s experience at GMS. Throughout the year, the PTO sponsors programs, activities, and initiatives that complement the work of our teachers and create meaningful opportunities for our families to connect.

Every parent is encouraged to be part of the PTO. Your involvement whether through attending a meeting, volunteering at an event, sharing your time and talents, or simply lending a helping hand, makes a meaningful difference. Regular PTO meetings are held throughout the school year, and all parents are warmly invited to participate. We also welcome grandparents and other family members who would like to share the gift of their time.

Funds raised through PTO-sponsored activities directly support our students, teachers, and school. These contributions help provide special classroom materials, support our playground and library, and enhance school celebrations and community programs.

The PTO also coordinates many of the traditions and activities that make the GMS experience special, including:

• Holiday celebrations and special refreshments

• Playground improvements and maintenance

• Special materials and resources for classrooms and the library

• Hot lunch programs

• Birthday celebrations

• Challah programs

• GMS spirit T-shirts

At GMS, we believe that a strong partnership between families, teachers, and the school creates a stronger community for every child. We invite you to get involved, connect with other families, and help us continue building a warm and supportive Montessori community.
